Mark joined Smartling from Symantec, through their 2007 acquisition of Vontu. In these roles, he led the Sales Engineering and Professional Services teams, and established best practices for customer evaluations, including success at more than one-third of the Fortune 100. Prior to Vontu, he managed product teams and served in pre- and post-Sales roles at NetGravity, Connectify and Kana Communications. He speaks Russian, German, Czech and is working on French.

Mark holds a BA in Russian Studies and Russian Literature from Brown University. He lives in Montreal with his wife and children, and spends a lot of time on flights to/from NYC and our clients around the U.S.
