What's been up with Smartling lately?

It’s been a great start to the summer for us Smartlings!

We announced a new partnership with Taghreedat, an international Arabic crowd-sourcing community. This is particularly exciting to us because despite Arabic being one of the fastest-growing languages on the web, content found in Arabic is few and far between. We hope that together, we can increase access to online information for Arabic-speakers around the globe.

Additionally Jack, our founder and CEO, was interviewed by Sarah Lacy of Pando Daily following the great Fred Wilson talk we hosted together (You can check out some pictures from the Pando Monthly Fireside Chat on our Facebook page here). In the interview, Jack discusses international trends for startups and what sparked his interest in starting Smartling. You can read the full article here.

For more updates, don’t forget to follow us on Twitter @smartling. And for those in the U.S., have a safe and happy 4th of July weekend!
