Smartling Reports Best Quarter in Company History

New York technology company doubles customer additions and experiences a 25 percent increase in bookings in Q2 2015

NEW YORK – July 21, 2015 – Smartling today announced that Q2 2015 marked the most successful quarter in company history, again securing its place as the fastest-growing translation technology company. Its strong financial performance was underscored by a 50 percent increase in new customers and a 25 percent increase in bookings, Q2 over Q1. Throughout the quarter, the technology company secured significantly larger deal sizes with longer-term commitments, resulting in record revenues.

In addition to its tremendous financial growth in Q2, Smartling also greatly expanded its global presence with new offices in San Francisco, London and Dublin. The company’s new London office is home to an experienced team of sales and technical leaders tasked with supporting its growing customer base in Europe. Smartling’s Dublin and San Francisco offices also opened in the second quarter, and are comprised of sales, client services, support and engineering professionals.

  • Executive Team Appointments – Kevin Cohn joined Smartling’s seasoned leadership team as the company’s vice president of operations. In this role, Cohn is responsible for driving organizational efficiency and scalability, as Smartling continues to grow in the enterprise and corporate segments.
  • Translation Management Technology Innovation – The company’s new Translation Connector for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) 6.1 enables AEM users to seamlessly connect to Smartling’s cloud-based translation management platform from within the AEM 6.1 system to easily and cost-effectively create and manage multilingual content and localize the customer experience. Smartling’s suite of translation Connectors provides enterprise customers with the most modern and open cloud platform for translation management available.
  • Industry Recognition for Technology Excellence – Smartling’s translation management system was selected as the “Best Work Productivity Technology” at the 2015 MITX Awards, one of the largest and most prestigious annual awards competitions for digital innovation in the country. Also in the quarter, the company’s platform was named to EContent’s list of Trendsetting Products of 2015.
