Smartling's MT API is a lightweight, synchronous, non-TMS endpoint that provides on-demand machine translation without storing content on the platform or incorporating it into workflows or translation memory. It uses the MT Profile configured in the Smartling Dashboard, allowing customers to choose from their own trained engines, AutoSelect, fallback engines, and language-specific engines.
