Lera Boroditsky is the keynote speaker at Global Ready Conference San Francisco. Boroditsky is a celebrated cognitive scientist and professor in the fields of language and cognition who has been named one of the “25 Visionaries Changing the World.” Her TED Talk on how people view the world differently based on their linguistic backgrounds - “Do the languages that we speak share the way we think?” - has been viewed nearly 8 million times. Borodistky’s fascinating, playful, and richly detailed keynotes examine the timely overlap of language, intelligence, and human behavior.
Lane Green is the keynote speaker at Global Ready Conference London. Green is the language columnist and editor at The Economist, based in London. He is the author of two books, Talk on the Wild Side (2018) and You Are What You Speak (2011). Green’s work has been recognized by the Linguistic Society of America in 2017 with its premiere award. He is a former adjunct assistant professor in Global Affairs at New York University, and is a consultant to Freedom House, a non-governmental organization.
