NEW YORK — June 27, 2019Smartling, the premier software and translation services company that established the Enterprise Translation Cloud category, today announces its designation as the top performer in the Translation Management Software (TMS) category in the G2, formerly G2 Crowd, Summer 2019 Grid Report, a peer-to-peer business solutions review website.

“We pride ourselves on working diligently to understand our customer’s needs, taking their feedback seriously and regularly making innovative, proactive updates to the Smartling platform,” said Annette Obermeier, head of marketing at Smartling. “Our G2 reviews and placement as a leader in the TMS grid demonstrate our commitment to provide an excellent product that helps our customers orchestrate personalized, creative and in-language experiences.”

Software in the translation management category must meet basic capability requirements before being assessed through various criteria generated by at least ten verified user reviews. Based on these validated users’ experiences, Smartling has achieved the following:

  • 89 percent overall G2 Satisfaction Score
  • 94 percent satisfaction on Quality of Support (compared to 91 percent TMS category average)
  • 93 percent satisfaction on Ease of Doing Business With (compared to 70 percent TMS category average)
  • 86 percent satisfaction on Ease of Admin (compared to 65 percent TMS category average)
  • 96 percent of users gave Smartling a 4- or 5-star rating (other 4 percent gave a 3-star rating)

“It is super easy to get started [with Smartling]. We had a dedicated Customer Success Manager who helped us get training on the platform and start translating quickly,” said one Smartling customer and G2 validated reviewer. “The ability to set up customized workflows and the visual-context provided to our translators is a huge pro — both of these things have had a big impact on quality. Our previous translation process was manual and took weeks in some cases. Smartling has streamlined these processes and cut down our time to market to days.”

This news follows the announcement of the company’s expanded automation capabilities at its annual Global Ready Conference in May as well as being named the #1 market leader by the Common Sense Advisory in its recently released MarketFlex for Language-Oriented TMS.
